A website showcasing the collaboration between ECAL and MIT Department of Architecture. The project explored networked physical interfaces as a form of digital pedagogy, enabling design and creation with limited material resources, away from traditional studio and workshop settings.
Students designed paired electronic objects from simple, readily available materials, dynamically routed and connected to one another to physically augment video calls and extend each participant's virtual reach into the other's tangible space. Notions of remote presence, simultaneous action, and telepresence were explored across locations.
